Reporting to the Warehouse manager, the role holder will manager all tasks based activities associated with maintaining stock integrity.

Key Responsibilities:
Day to day duties will include but not limited to:
- Ensure safe working practices are maintained and the area is maintained in a clean, tidy, and safe state at all times.
- Carry out incident and accident investigations, ensuring robust countermeasures are put in place.
- Consistently promote high standards through personal example and roll out through the team so that each member understands the standards; ensure you are a role model leader.
- Conduct shift Tier meetings each morning at the start of shift.
- Responsible for carrying out daily walk arounds, ensuring daily checks are conducted within all work areas – reporting into the Tier meetings at various levels.
- Ensure we plan and run all planned jobs driving high levels of schedule adherence.
- Through the utilization of lean manufacturing techniques, strive to exceed the Company targets in productivity, efficiency, and quality on a continuous basis.
- Responsible for driving PPI initiatives within the team.
- Ensure execution of daily plan is met. Develop contingency plans for potential shortfalls.
- Undertake performance management responsibility for team members, conducting appraisals and providing coaching and direction to attain good performance.
- Ensure that non-conformance is challenged, and countermeasures are agreed upon and implemented with relevant training support.
- Lead and empower the team to build a high-performance organization where improvement suggestions are accepted. Maintain detailed notes on team members to allow effective feedback on performance and set realistic improvement targets.
- Contribute to the improvement of working procedures by maintaining a Continuous improvement mentality. Undertake regular Gembas to ensure you have current knowledge of all issues.
- Ensure all external and internal auditory standards and improvement requirements are met from a financial and quality aspect.
- Be responsible for ensuring accurate and efficient training is completed for operators for products and processes.
- Communicate critical metrics from the strategic annual plan so that each employee is aware.
- Ensure critical metrics are delivered and potential performance shortfalls are dealt with effectively.
- Provide expertise and effective leadership within the team and respond to operator queries.
Skills and Attributes
The ideal candidate will possess the abilities to develop and maintain an efficient working team. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the capability to establish logical and practical solutions.
Develop processes for coaching and empowering a team, using suitable interpersonal styles. Lead by example and motivate the team to establish objectives and define responsibilities, providing clear direction.
Build effective relationships both internally and externally of departments, while setting and achieving high standards that are contributing to clear objectives.
Be adaptable to change in a developing organization undergoing substantial growth with the capacity to display resilience and a flexible approach to varying situations.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with validated supervisory and people management experience. Be ready to hold all parties accountable to ensure standards are continually improving.
A good understanding of cGMP and experience working with Quality Management Systems, including SOPs and WIs and other related documents.
Qualifications and Experience Levels
High School education or equivalent, with some post High School education or work experience.
A consistent track record in delivering change in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Strong experience in people management.
Have a solid understanding of FMEA (Failure Mode Effects Analysis), Kaizen/A3 (continuous improvement and applying problem-solving techniques), Ishikawa, 5 Whys etc.
