We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Engr. Consultant specializing in SAP FI and more precisely in Record to report to work on the SAP Platform Services team.

What you’ll be doing...

As an ERP SAP FI Functional Consultant in IT Corporate Systems group, this individual will be a functional lead for Finance area in strategic and transformation initiatives such as 1ERP.

1ERP is a multi-year program to consolidate various ERP platforms into a single ERP platform to drive efficiencies.

The primary function of this role is intended to take a broad-based view of business processes across core functional domain for both US and global business entities.

This individual will deliver best in class out of box capabilities through planning, analysis, design and leading development teams to realize the business processes.

This role will interface with business partners, system integration leads, functional leads, and development lead in order to fulfill the stated primary goal.

● Requirement gathering preparation, Configuration, Prepare Test Scenarios and Test Scripts.

● Preparing Functional Specifications, cutover strategies and issue resolution post Go Live.

● Creating, tracking SAP OSS notes and working with SAP to resolve issues.

● Preparing reports and training materials, training personnel, and delivering presentations.

● Implementing SAP Best Practices Business Processes, Global templates, and configuration of these Best Practices.

● Identifying as-is processes and to-be processes and Map Business Processes in SAP S/4 Hana System.

What we’re looking for...

You will need to have:

● Bachelors degree or six or more years of experience

● Six or more years of relevant work experience in SAP FI-RTR

● Experience working directly with SAP Finance Processes on the SAP S4/HANA

● Experience working on at least two full life cycle implementation projects including at least 1 Implementation experience in S/4 HANA

● Good understanding of Finance business processes at high level

● Experience in End-to-End configuration skills in SAP Finance and Record to report on S/4 HANA

● Experience working directly with SAP Finance Processes on the SAP S4/HANA

● Good understanding of Supply Chain and Finance business processes at high level

● Experience in End-to-End configuration skills in SAP Finance and Record to report on S/4 HANA

● Basic FI Enterprise Structure Configuration – Company code, Functional area, Segments and assignments to Company code and Controlling area

● Basic understanding of Operating Concern in COPA module

● Basic FI Configuration experience in the following areas- Chart of Accounts, Fiscal year variant, Posting period variants, Controlling area element settings, Basic Cost center accounting, Profit center accounting, Internal orders, Cost accounting

● Ledger Concepts and Configuration

● Foreign Currency valuation and foreign currency translation

● Month end and Year end closing activities

● Document Splitting

● Worked on Interfaces

● Worked on preparation of Functional Specifications

● Working knowledge of Fiori Apps

● Coordination with ABAP team for any development work

● Have experience in preparation of Training documents and end user training

● Worked on integration touchpoints between GL and other modules

● Understanding of Cost center distribution and allocations

● Knowledge and experience in FI and CO Master data elements like GL account, Cost centers, Profit Centers etc

● Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality solutions within established timelines

● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to propose innovative solutions

● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders

● Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

● SAP certification in SAP FI or related areas

● Experience with SAP In House Cash/ICMR/Group Reporting

● Familiarity with agile methodologies

● Experience with strong integration knowledge with Middleware, SAP security

● Strong communication and leadership skills

● SAP Activate methodology certification

● Good team and organizational planning skills, sound judgment, high sense of urgency, attention to detail and strong time management skills

● Experience in the technology or telecommunications industry
